DASGS win SVGCC track and field championships


The Division of Arts Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) took the 2014 St Vincent Community College championships, held March 21, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field, outpointing the other five faculties.{{more}}

DASGS tallied 351 points, pushing the Division of Technical and Vocational Education to second, with 294 points.

Docking in third was Division of Nursing Education, with 176 points.

Pre College was fourth, with 173 points and Division of Teacher Education in the cellar position, with 170 points.

DASGS champed both the male and female division as well.

Reuberth Boyde, with 20 points, of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education, copped the Victor Ludurom award and Sheva Butcher, from the Division of Teacher Education, who compiled 42 points, was Victrix Ludorum.
