But it was Team Rivals who came out the drier, as they were able to take first innings over Guardian General Saints and notch up some valuable batting and bowling points.

Playing at the Sion Hill Playing Field, Team Rivals posted 252 for 5 declared. Marvin Small led the way with 93; Asif Hooper scored 79 and Hyron Shallow, 45.

Rolando Wright was the most successful bowler for Saints, taking 2 for 79.

Saints in response were sent packing for 68 all out, as Casmond Walters snared 7 for 37 and Olanzo Jackson, 3 for 22.

Following on, Saints were 116 for 7 in their second innings. Again it was Walters who completed a 10-wicket haul, grabbing 4 for 14, to finish with match figures of 11 for 51.

At Arnos Vale Two, Victors One, who had already suffered a loss on first innings to Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO, the previous weekend, had to settle for a no decision against Police Two.

Victors One got up to 253 for 5 declared, with good contributions coming from Atticus Browne, 56, Keron Cottoy, 42, Lauron Francois, 41, Chrisroy John, 40 and Donwell Hector, 39.

Former Saints player Romario Bibby took 2 for 65.

Police Two, in between the rains on Sunday, scored 153 for 7; Salvan Browne made 34.

Keron Cottoy was the pick of the Victors One’s bowling, picking up 6 for 42. (RT)
