Another tie in TBPO T-20 cricket competition

For the second week running, there was a tied match in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Organisation Softball Cricket Competition at the Dauphine Playing Field.{{more}}

Playing to the tied scores were Dr Thomas Injectors and ASCO.

Dr Thomas Injectors, sent in by ASCO, made 126 off 19.4, overs all out; Kesron Ashton had 31 and Damien Allen, 21.

Bowling for ASCO, Kimron Jackson took 3 for 28 and Sheldon Strough, 2 for 27.

In reply, ASCO reached 126 for 8 off their allotted 20 overs, led by Amreod Bobb’s 57.

Bowling for Injectors, Kevin Lorraine had 2 for 12 and Kesron Ashton, 2 for 26.

Also there were wins for Shot Callers, Gomea Bombers, Simple Boys and Bank of SVG All Stars.

Shot Callers had a three-wicket win at the expense of Older Boys.

Older Boys batted first and made 109 in their allotted 20 overs for 8, after Shot Callers won the toss and chose to field. Arrington Burgin hit 21.

Jabarri Guy took 4 for 15 and Azmon Forbes, 2 for 36.

In reply, Shot Callers reached 110 for 7 in 16.1 overs, with Lee Bullock making 45.

Bowling for Older Boys, Rajiv Roberts had 3 for 17 and Junior Bacchus 3 for 21.

Gomea Bombers ousted Georgie Valley Saints by 12 runs.

Batting first, Bombers made 100 all out off 14.1 overs; Julian Toby hit 27.

Bowling for Georgie Valley Saints, Zane Greaves grabbed 3 for 22, Vendecliffe Primus 2 for 8 and Emerson Quashie, 2 for 29.

In reply, Georgie Valley Saints were dismissed for 88 in 14.3 overs.

Gomea’s bowling was shared by Barry Cunningham who had 2 for 6; Osbourne Franklyn, 2 for 15 and Ovando O’ Brien, 2 for 16.

Gairy Construction Simple Boys recorded a 78 run triumph over General Hardware Supplies Richmond Hill.

Elric Morris 48, Nicos Davis 36 and Casmond Walters 31, pushed Simple Boys to 176 for 8 from their allotted 20 overs.

Deptor Culzac picked up 3 for 31 and Zenroy Lee 2 for 12, bowling for Richmond Hill.

In response, Richmond Hill were restricted to 98 for 7 from their 20 overs.

Elroy Cumberbatch, with 31, was the main spark in Richmond Hill’s losing batting efforts.

Casmond Walters snared 3 for 10 for Simple Boys.

In another match, Bank of SVG All Stars won by default from RSVG Police.(RT)
