National T-20 Cricket Competition bowls off

When the National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams T-20 Cricket Competition bowled off last weekend, there were wins for ASCO, Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy, LIME Radcliffe and Radcliffe Too.{{more}}

On Saturday, at Park Hill, Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO registered 142 for 5 off 15 overs, batting first. Their batting was led by Zianni Da Silva, who slammed 51, and Desron Maloney 31.

Bowling for Police One, Parnel Browne took 2 for13 and Vertel Davis 2 for 24. In reply, Police One could only reach 105 for 6 from their 15 overs; Peter Morris made 37 and Gosnel Cupid 32. Amreal Bobb grabbed 3 for 13 and Andre Hunte 3 for 18, as ASCO won by 37 runs.

At Buccament, Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy relieved Smashers by six wickets.

Smashers reached 60 for 6 off 12 overs, as rain forced a reduction in the number of overs. Edson Williams top scored with 22.

Donald Delpesche had 2 for 4, and Javed Harry 2 for 13.

In reply, Ishallz Byam’s Physical Therapy reached 64 for 4 off 11 overs; Leshawn Lewis got 35.

Alshaw Jack was the pick of Smashers’ bowling with 3 for 7.

On Sunday at Park Hill, the Radcliffe clan came away victors in both matches.

First up, Lime Radcliffe beat the News Spartans by 44 runs.

Lime Radcliffe scored 183 for 3 off 20 overs, with Drumo Toney hitting 69 and Rodney Lawrence 45 not out.

Spartans in their run chase were dismissed for 139.

Their innings was propped up by Dawnley Grant, who struck 45 and Gideon Pope 40, but the others did not support.

Delorn Johnson snared 4 for 12 and Rodney Lawrence 3 for 15, to seal the win for Radcliffe with the ball.

Also at the same venue, Radcliffe Too recorded a three-wicket triumph over Victors Two. Victors Two scored 128 for 7 off 15 overs; Denis Byam 49 and Roland Wilkinson 45.

Kenson Dalzel, 3 for 19 and Kemson Dalzel 3 for 24, shared the bulk of the wickets for Radcliffe Too, who then got to 128 for 7 with two balls to spare. Shawn Browne was the lead batsman with 54 not out and Imran Smith stroked 28. Adinal Richards picked up 3 for 17 in a losing cause for Victors Two.(RT)
