Last Saturday, Imperial registered title number one, when they copped the 35-over title at Marine Park C and returned on Sunday to add the 40-over regular season championships to the list.
Facing Diplomats in the 35-over final, Imperial batted first and registered 283 for 3 in 35 overs; Hyron Shallow top scored with 124 and Darius Green, 120.
Bowling for Diplomats, Keith Eddie had 2 for 75.
In reply, Diplomats could only muster 109 all out; Keith Eddie and Isra Khan made 22 runs each.
Bowling for Imperial, Orlando Mofford grabbed 3 for 26 and Shaddy Khan 2 for 23.
Imperial won by 174 runs.
Coming up against Imperial in the 40-over affair title match, Diplomats, this time, took first strike; they made 186 all out in 38 overs.
Colbert Vantull 52, Keith Eddie 36 and Trinson Carmichael 29 were the main scorers.
Bowling for Imperial, Marlon Johnson had 3 for 40 and Dixeth Palmer 2 for 20.
At their turn at the crease, Imperial replied with187 runs for 7 in 38 overs; Dixeth Palmer made 32, Marlon Johnson 31, Ainsley Edwards 29 and Hyron Shallow 28.
Bowling for Diplomats Inshan Khan booked 4 for 35, but could not stop Imperial from winning by three wickets and their second title in two days.(RT)
