NLA National Cricket T-20 competition bowls off this weekend

The National Lotteries Authority National Cricket T-20 Competition will begin next weekend.{{more}}

The competition is scheduled to be played at several venues around the country, including Paget Farm, Bequia; London, Sandy Bay; Buccament Bay, Arnos Vale 1 and the new Park Hill Playing Field.

Four-time winner and defending champion Victors 1 and runners-up Police 2 will head two groups of seven teams. Exciting cricket awaits, with the top national players on show, as they battle for a place in the national team to take part in the Windward Islands T-20 competition later this year.

Group A (Victors 1, Lime Radcliffe, The News Spartans, Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO, Police 1, Smashers and Ishallz Byam Physical Therapy)

Group B (Police 2, Team Rivals, Guardian General Saints, Bequia, Victors 2, Radcliffe Too and Triumph United Cricket Club)

The NLA National Cricket T-20 Competition will be played over eight weekends; which will see the preliminary matches from September 14 to October 20. The playoffs will take place from October 26 to November 2, and with the grand final taking place on November 3. On match days, the first game begins at 10 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m.

The SVG Cricket Association says full fixtures will be available this week.
