SVG NOC, Red Rose Sports Club partner on sports project

The National Olympic Committee of St Vincent and the Grenadines, in partnership with the Red Rose Sports Club of the United Kingdom, is seeking to employ sports coaches across a number of sporting disciplines to deliver the “Inspiration for All” sports project.{{more}}

According to a release from the organizers, the project, which aims to create a legacy of increased participation in sport and physical activity in SVG, was inspired by the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympics Games.

Hence, they are seeking suitably qualified coaches to undertake sectional work in the following disciplines: Track and Field Athletics, Basketball, Table Tennis Squash, Tennis, Swimming, Badminton and Netball.

The project will run from September 13, 2013 to 14 March 2014 and coaches can expect to earn a minimum of EC$30 per hour plus reasonable expenses.

This project is being funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, and managed in the UK by Anthony Durrant M.B.E. J.P., Change Management consultant and Siraz Natha, chair-Projects, Red Rose Sports Club.

Interested coaches willing to participate in this exciting pilot project should submit short curriculum vitae by August 30 to the Administrator, National Olympic Committee, at PO Box 1644, Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
