Leading the way were the Boyde twins, who were once again first and second in the 100 and 200m in the Under-18 category.

But this time around it was Reuberth who upstaged his brother Reberto in both events.

Reuberth, who is more adept at the 200m, clipped Reberto in the final of the 100m, as he finished first in 11.01 seconds and Reberto, second in 11.03 seconds.

In the heats, Reuberth clocked 10.99 seconds and Reberto, 11.03 seconds.

Reuberth went on to take the 200m in 21.78 seconds, after both brothers recorded identical times. Reberto was adjudged second.

The brothers, along with Keron Arthur and Brandon Parris, combined to win the 4 X 100m in a time of 42.08 seconds.

The Vincentians also won the sprint medley relay.

The other gold medal winner was Kasique Oliver, who claimed the 800m male under-20 in one minute 56.63 seconds.

Arthur and Parris ventured out in the 200m, with the former finishing sixth in the final in 22.22 seconds and the latter seventh in 22.61 seconds.

Arthur had done 22.08 seconds in the heats and Parris 22.47 seconds.

Participating in the 400m final, Parris covered the distance in 49.46 seconds to finish fifth, with Arthur sixth in 49.97 seconds and Oliver was seventh in 50.81 seconds.

The trio had bettered their times registered in the heats.

In the preliminary round, Parris clocked 49.91 seconds; Arthur did it in 50.63 seconds and Oliver, 50.82 seconds.

The Vincentian contingent, which had Rawlson Morgan as the coach, is preparing for the upcoming PanAm Juniors set for Colombia later this year. (RT)
