The two players, Vinisha King and Edelyn Turtin, are also members of this country’s under-19 female set, with King being the captain of that unit.

The duo were recipients of cricket gear, thanks to collaboration between Sports Minister Cecil McKie, Parliamentary Representative of the Constituency of West St George and resident Winston Gabriel. The package presented included bats and bat rubbers, mittens and arm guards.

The competition will be played in the 50 overs and 20 overs formats and will run from August 3rd – 23rd, 2013.
