Taylor clips his way to basketball’s Most Valuable Player award
Steveon Taylor of Smoking Aces recorded the most blocked shots â 16, scored the most points â 101, recorded 30 rebounds, 15 steals and 3 three-pointers,{{more}} to be named the Most Valuable Player of the menâs division of the National Lotteries Authority National Basketball Tournament.
Taylor, as expected, tuned in with his teamâs Most Valuable Player award.
On his way to the top individual trophy of recognition, Taylor sidelined the other contenders.
Pouching the most rebounds was Hairoun Hardcoreâs Kendall Pinder, who made 35 successful reclaims.
Meanwhile, Ishama Mc Kree of Aycees Calliaqua United basketed the most three-point shots, with Hairoun Hardcoreâs Andrel Bailey, the most steals â 18.
Pinder and Mc Kree were also their teamsâ Most Valuable Players.
Rounding up the other Most Valuable Player awards, were Dale Shepherd â H &H Oral Care Advent Ballers and Jonas King â Bequia United.
Taking the Player of the Final trophy was Leslo Mc Kenzie of Aycees Calliaqua United.
Advent Ballers walked away with the Most Disciplined Team title. (RT)
