Middlesex claimed the toss and took first strike in a match reduced to 30 overs, due to late turn up by Queensbury, and notched up 177 for 5 from their overs. Dominic Audain top scored with 75 not out, which consisted of 5 fours and the same number of sixes. Good support came from Treldon MacMillan, 36, and Mark Audain, 27.

Queensbury, in reply, was shot out for 86. Bruno Henry, 13 not out and Kenneth Charles, 12, were the only batsmen to reach double figures.

Bowling for Middlesex, Kavir Singh grabbed 3 for 15; Dominic Audain 2 for 13 and Darren Dennis finished with 2 for 21, to see their team to a 91-run win.

But the other Vincentian outfit in action on Sunday, Imperial, fell to Pak Stallions by two wickets at Marine Park C.

Imperial were dismissed for 161 in 39.1 overs. David Mohammed, 39, and Clarence Wyllie, 26, were the main contributors with the bat.

Bowling for Pak Stallions, Abrar Zafar took 4 for 25.

Pak Stallions made 164 for 8 in 39.3 overs; Abrar Zafar hit 63. Orlando Mofford grabbed 2 for 25, bowling for Imperial.

Matches continue this Sunday, when Imperial engage New York Youths at Marine Park A, while at Marine Park C, Middlesex face St Catherine.

Another all-Vincy clash is in the offing at Marine Park B, when Queensbury and Cavaliers go head to head.
