Radcliffe stumped Victors Two by ten wickets, at the Sion Hill Playing Field, in the lone fixture of the division on the weekend.

Victors Two, who were promoted to the premier division this year, having been relegated in 2011, batted first, and were dismantled for 70.

Only former St Vincent and the Grenadines Under-19 player Henderson Morgan, with 29, made any score of note.

Victors Two were rattled by left arm spinner Andy Harper, who grabbed 4 for 23 and Lindon James, who gave up the gloves, picked up 3 for 19.

Radcliffe, in their turn at the crease, doubled up Victors Two’s total, as they reached 140 all out. Drumo Toney lashed 46.

Two former St Vincent and the Grenadines and Windwards players, Roland Wilkinson, 6 for 51 and Denis Byam 4 for 64, shared the bowling returns for Victors Two.

Batting a second time, Victors Two fared marginally better, scoring 84 all out.

Kishore Shallow struck 26, as Andy Harper was again the thorn in the flesh of the Victors Two batsmen, grabbing 5 for 19, to finish with a match haul of 9 for 42, while Rodney Lawrence took 3 for 18.

Set 15 to win, Radcliffe made 18 for the loss of no wicket.

Victors Two, who languish at the bottom of the eight team table, are still winless in their 2013 campaign, having lost three matches outright and lost the other two on first innings.

On the other hand, Radcliffe gets a jump over the News Spartans and Police Two, to be fourth in the standings.

Team Rivals head the table, followed by Victors One and Guardian General Insurance Saints, in that order.

Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO sits one from the bottom. (RT)
