Kicking during Digicelâs âKick to Winâ promotion, which was held during the half-time period of the St Vincent and the Grenadines versus St Lucia game, were Jarrel McMaster, who kicked for his friend Elroy Boucher and Jalen Miller, who kicked for his brother Doran Hazelwood. The other competitor was former national player Christopher âBrazilianâ Harry.
The three lucky customers were chosen to kick after they entered their names in a draw which took place at the Park that night. They all got three chances to kick a soccer ball from the half line into an empty net.
Winning the first prize of the EC$100 credit was McMaster, who scored from half line after his third try. McMaster said that his friend Boucher had asked him to kick for him and he was glad that he won the credit, which they decided to share equally.
The other two competitors, who did not manage to score from the half line after three chances, each were still rewarded with EC$25 credit by marketing executive at Digicel Justin John.
The âKick to Winâ competition was also held on Sunday, April 14, when Barrouallie resident Keisha Morgan won EC$100, during the half-time break of the quarter-final Inter-League Community Competition game between South Leeward and Central Kingstown.
