The latest in his growing list was the copping of the most goals in the senior division of the Bank of SVG Barrouallie Football League, which concluded Saturday at the Keartons Playing Field.

The talismanic Anderson, who represented Youngsters FC, netted 13 goals.

It crowned off a year of rewards for the Central Leeward Secondary student, who won the best striker award in the National Properties Under-17 Inter-community Competition earlier this year.

And, Anderson, who also represented Barrouallie in the senior division of the Inter-community Competition was voted as the most outstanding player in the entire tournament.

In addition, Anderson has been the leading goal scorer in the senior division of the secondary schools’ football competitions for 2011 and 2012.

In 2010, he was the top goal scorer in the Under-16 Division of the schools’ competition.

Joining Anderson in the spotlight at Saturday’s closing and presentation ceremony were the other top departmental performers.

In the Norrell Hull Under-17 Division, Nathan Griffith of System 3 was adjudged the best goalkeeper, while Kyle Edwards of Adare One was the best midfielder.

Parkside Rollers’ Derron Rouse claimed the best defender award and Delano John of Adare One, the most goals — 8.

Taking the senior division best goalkeeper award was Topsidaz’s Egon Dickson. Kerwin Corke also of Topsidaz was named the best midfielder and Goznel Ashton of System 3, the best defender. (RT)
