X-Ceed sports club gives back

The X-Ceed Sports Club on November 5 at the Kingstown Netball Centre handed over monetary donations to three of its members: Nicky Ann Stephens from the Thomas Saunders Secondary, Naomi Williams — Buccament Bay Secondary and Dia Frederick — Central Leeward Secondary.{{more}}

The donations of $200 per student were made from club funds.

The donations are the club’s annual gesture of assisting students of the club who are sitting external examinations, namely Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC).

President of X-Ceed Sports Club Godfrey “Fuzzy” Harry encouraged the students to aim for excellence and always to keep the club’s motto —“Developing winning ways through sports” — in their hearts.

The brief ceremony was witnessed by the students’ parents/guardians who expressed gratitude to the club for its gesture.
