Defenders Jolanshoy Mc Dowald and Keith James, midfielders Emerald George and Romano Snagg and striker Nazir Mc Burnette have been carried over from the team that placed second behind Guyana in St Lucia last month.

Odanza Dennie, Ayre Durham, Oscar Nero and Devon Browne have been dropped after the St Lucia sojourn.

Shandell Samuel, who was originally not named in the team, has since been included, as the SVGFF increased the squad to 20 players.

He has also retained his post as vice-captain.

“… we needed to strengthen some areas where we did not get enough out of some players in St Lucia,” coach Cornelius Huggins told SEARCHLIGHT.

Goalkeepers Dwayne Sandy and Kenyon Lynch, defenders Wesley Charles — who is also team captain, Reginald Richardson, Roy Richards and Shemmol Trimmingham have maintained their place in the team, which was set to depart yesterday.

The team also comprises midfielders Cornelius Stewart, Nicol Stephens, Wendell Cuffy, Darren Hamlett and Theon Gordon, along with strikers Myron Samuel, Zenroy Lee and Azhino Solomon.

The rest of the management team comprises Keith Ollivierre — technical director, Tyrone Barrow— assistant coach, Othneil Douglas — manager, Kevin Richardson — goalkeeper, Denis Byam — physiotherapist, Alnif Williams — kit manager and Dominique Stowe — the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s representative.
