Joseph deposits big for BOSVG All Stars in Biabou Softball

NewBornn Joseph posted the second century of the 2012 Biabou Softball Cricket Competition last Sunday at the Biabou Playing Field, when he bladed 108, to lead Bank of SVG All Stars to 226 for 3 from their 20 overs against Biabou United.{{more}}

Joseph peppered 15 sixes in his belligerent knock. Holding Allen took 2 for 33, bowling for Biabou.

At their turn, Biabou crashed to 75 all out. Hermus Garrick top scored with 24.

Bowling for BOSVG All Stars, Andrew Little took 3 for 20 and Debrian Pitt had 2 for 20, winning by 151 runs.

Also on Sunday, Young Strikers overcame Simon Patriots by 198 runs.

Davidson Lavia hit 51 and Desron Lavia 36, to prop up Young Strikers’ innings of 263 for 8 from their 20 overs. Kish Campbell 2 for 25 and Leon Baptiste 2 for 45, were the lead bowlers for Young Strikers.

In reply, Patriots were sent packing for 65 in 17.6 overs. Omar Shortte made 20.

Randy Young was the pick of Young Strikers’ bowlers, with 4 for 15 and Desron Lavia assisted with 3 for 16.

And, Ravers were clinical against Y de Lima Hotspurs, defeating them by 9 wickets.

Hotspurs posted 144 for 8 from their maximum 20 overs, batting first. Kensley Joseph was their ace scorer with 65.

Ravers’ bowling was led by Rodney Lawrence, who grabbed 3 for 11.

In response, Ravers bolted to 149 for 1 in 11 overs. Recarvo Williams knocked in 83 and Rodney Lawrence 35, to see their team over the line without much fuss. (RT)
