Valley Netters prevail in Bagga senior netball

Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines Valley Netters have won the 2012 league title of the senior division of the Western Union Barrouallie Netball Tournament,{{more}} despite losing their final match Sunday night at the Keartons hard court.

Valley Netters went under to Barrouallie Co-operative Credit Union Star Girls 30-28 in the final match of the league.

Also on Sunday night, Layou Orions won the Vita Malt Under-16 Division, defeating Rising Stars 25 to 21.

The rest of the tournament is reserved for the elimination knockout competition in both divisions.

This aspect of the tournament was set to begin last night, also at the Keartons hardcourt.
