CIBC FCIB offers support to SVG Masters Cricket
CIBC FIRSTCARIBBEAN Supports Local Cricket
The local branch of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank is partnering with the SVG Masters Cricket Tournament Organising Committee, as a sponsor in this yearâs Cricket Masters Competition.{{more}}
The bank recently presented a $1,000 sponsorship cheque to Committee Chair Selwyn Allen, to assist in the hosting of the 2012 competition.
This is the seventh year running that the competition is being organised.
It will bowl off with the Sixes Competition.
The standard T/20 format will commence shortly after the completion of this aspect of the competition.
Some 15 teams from communities throughout the country are expected to register for and compete in this yearâs event.
CIBC First Caribbean Country Manager Elroy John said the bank is pleased to contribute to this important sporting initiative and to the overall development of sports in the country, in keeping with the institutionâs corporate mandate and commitment.
