Ruddy’s Electrical starts to ignite in Bagga T/20


Ruddy’s Electrical T20 team is beginning to show its worth in the National Lotteries Bagga T/20 Softball Cricket Competition.{{more}}

Last Sunday, Ruddy’s Electrical recorded a four wicket triumph over Hillview. Batting first, Hillview posted 87 for 8 in their 20 overs. Devon Dickson hit 22. Samuel Byam and Jaswin Gaymes both took 2 for 12.

Ruddy’s Electrical then got to victory target of 88, losing six wickets in the process. Tevin Griffith struck 22.

Also, the in form Suprizers continued their winning ways by defeating Sand Crab by 67 runs. Suprizers, opting to bat first, made 136 all out in their 20 overs. Anton Caesar smashed a boundary filled 46. Akram Cuffy picked up 3 for 27.

Sand Crab could only manage 69 all out in 15 overs. Godfrey Derrick bagged 5 for 5.

Also on Friday, last year’s runners up Valley Boys defeated the in-form team Circumstances by 21 runs. David Bascombe with 32, helped Valley Boys to reach 126 for 6 in their 20 overs. Christopher Trumpet took 4 for 27, bowling for Circumstances.

Kerwyn Browne with 3 for 13, pegged back Circumstances, as they were dismissed for 105.

And, Summerset inflicted a 62-run win at the expense of a struggling Topsidaz.

Summerset batted first and got to 137. Kevin Small struck 31 and Orlando Charles 21. Sebastian Forde grabbed 4 for 20. Topsidaz’s vain chase ended at 75 for 8 from their allotted 20 overs.

Nelson Williams had 2 for 15, bowling for Summerset.
