The 4th Digicel National Netball Tournament began last Sunday, March 11, with a procession of the participating teams and clubs from the Victoria Park to the Kingstown Netball Centre.{{more}}
32 teams have registered to take part in this yearâs tournament, competing in four divsions.
There were addresses from a representative of the Ministry of Sports, sponsors Digicel, and newly elected President Dellarice Duncan, along with cultural performances from the Avenue Dancers.
The featured game saw defending champions Western Union Mitres coming up against last yearâs third placed winners Layou Orions.
There was also a Netball shoot out competition, with the winner receiving a Blackberry Curve from Digicel, with one month free data and $25.00 credit.
