Mixed fortunes for visiting Tortola Basketballers

The LEGS Basketball team from Tortola had a mixed bagged of results when they visited St Vincent and the Grenadines last weekend to engage local outfits in friendly matches at the New Montrose Basketball facility.{{more}}

The visitors won one match, lost the other, with the other abandoned because of heavy rains on Saturday night.

LEGS’s win came on Sunday night, when they defeated Mattafix Playaz 75-68.

On Friday, in their opening encounter, Calliaqua United narrowly edged out LEGS 93-92 in a closely contested encounter.

On Saturday night, Eagles One was leading LEGS 45-43, when the rain put paid to proceedings at the uncovered facility.
