Thomas, Providence pouch pairs Domino title

The duo of Hosea Thomas and Caswald Providence emerged champions of the inaugural SLR/TBPO Pairs Domino Competition, which climaxed last Sunday night, November 20, at the Dauphine Community Center.{{more}}

The triumphant pair saw off the combination of Joel Pompey and Lionel Hoyte by three games to one, in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd of spectators and frolickers.

In the third place play off, which preceded the Finals, the pair of Calbert Nero and Cosmos Hackshaw beat Carlos Williams and Asquite Edwards to clinch the third position.

The competition saw 36 pairs competing for Net Books, Cash Prizes, SLR and Dominos.

The Prize Giving ceremony will coincide with the closing of the National Lotteries Authority TBPO 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition, which is scheduled to conclude next weekend.
