The C and R Enterprises Sion Hill Netball Competition opens tomorrow at 4:30 pm, at the hard court at the Sion Hill Playing Field.{{more}}
Organisers, the Sion Hill Netball Committee, say they are expecting sixteen teams to be part of the 2011 edition, which will be played in two divisions, Division One and Division Two.
Tomorrowâs opening ceremony will hear remarks from area representative Arnhim Eustace, Minister of National Mobilisation, Youth, Sports etc. Frederick Stephenson, President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association Godfrey Harry, and chairperson of the organsing committee Sylvia Clarke.
Following the march past, in which the prizes of best dressed team and best banner award are up for grabs, SOCC Strikers and RP Ballers will meet.
RP Ballers return as double champions of Division One and Sion Hill, the reigning league and knock out winners in Division Two.
