Arnos Vale batted first and posted 224 for 4 off their 20 overs. Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Windwards fast bowler McNeil Morgan hit a topscore of 73; Elvis Charles struck 60 and former SVG middle order batsman Ted Roberts contributed 33.

Jerome Samuel was the most successful bowler for P’tani, with 2 for 36. Samuel then made 55 in a losing cause, as P’tani was dismissed for 134 from 19.4 overs.

McNeil Morgan, Linton Greaves, Elson Crick and Pat Warner took two wickets each.

Also gaining full points was Dasent Cottage who won by default from Pastures, who only had six players when play was called last Saturday at the Grammar School Playing Field.

In limited play on Sunday at Arnos Vale Two, Computec Belfongo Masters scored 129 for 4, from 12 overs, as the number of overs was reduced. Peter Campbell led the way with 78.

Stubbs Masters was 28 for 4, when rained stopped play in the fifth over, as the match ended in no decision.

The rain affected the Sion Hill versus La Croix fixture which should have been played at the same venue, as no ball was bowled.

No play was possible at the Grammar School Playing Field on Sunday. Scheduled to play were Richards Maters against RSVG Police and Barrouallie versus Kingstown.

Organisers are hoping for good weather next weekend, so a full complement of matches could be staged.(RT)
