He is now off to play NCAA Division 1 tennis at North Carolina Central University on a tennis scholarship, while pursuing his BSc. Degree in Business Management. Fabrice’s accomplishments over the past years speak volumes of his immense talent. He was the first tennis player to be sponsored by a major telephone company in 2007 at the age of thirteen years. He was featured in LIAT’s In- Flight magazine as a future tennis star. His dominating performances saw him being the first player in St. Vincent and the Grenadines tennis to be accepted directly in the main draw of the prestigious Junior Orange Bowl Tournament in Florida in 2007. During that period he was ranked number 1 in the English-speaking Caribbean and number 4 in COTECC (Confederation of Tennis of Central America and the Caribbean). He later was awarded for Outstanding Performance in Tennis at the National Youth Awards 2007 from the Youth Affairs Department in the Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports. He was also a finalist for Junior Sportsman of the Year 2007.

His coach Peter Nanton of Bonan Tennis Academy, who stood by him during his formative years, believes Fabrice has the ability to reach far in tennis, once he maintains the right attitude and work ethic.

Fabrice, who enjoys a massive fan base locally and throughout the Caribbean region, hopes his success will spur other juniors to come forward and put St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the tennis map. He thanks his coaches, Anthony Boyea and Peter Nanton, for helping him get this far, his family for their unwavering support over the years, and his fellow players who pushed him to reach new heights. He plans to keep the flag of St. Vincent & the Grenadines flying high in North Carolina.
