GASA gives a Helping Hand

The Georgetown Area Sports Association (GASA) has donated a lawn mower to the Chilli Playing field from funds raised during the National Lotteries Authority North East Football League in 2010.{{more}}

In addition, the committee donated $1000 to Kidney Patient Kenny Cyrus of Landley Park; assisted players who were damaged during the 2010 football season with their medical bills to the sum of $2,500; assisted two children in the area, one with uniform, books, book bag etc, so that that child could go back to school, and the another with lunch at school; reinstalled the southern gate of the playing field which was damaged during the passage of Hurricane Tomas at a cost of $1,500, and assisted in the construction of a children’s playground at the southern end of the playing field.
