Dominic made 67, which was painted with 5 fours and 3 sixes. The elder Audain, Mark, struck 48, which saw him striking 8 boundaries. Rod Michael chipped in with 29 not out, and Adam Sanford who made 25, were Middlesex’s other main contributors with the bat.

Last weekend, the teams turned their attention to the 20/20 Knock Out format.
