St. Vincent and the Grenadines leg arm orthodox spinner Alston Bobb bagged a match haul of sixteen wickets to lead Victors One to a comprehensive seven wicket win over Police Two in the lone match of the RBTT/ NLA Premier Division of the National Cricket Competition,{{more}} last weekend.

Playing at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, Bobb snapped up 8 for 41 in Police Two’s first innings, and 8 for 21 in their second, to end with match analysis of 16 for 62.

Police Two’s first innings stopped at 110 and their second at 73.

Victors One in their first innings made 144. Donson Andrews topscored with 43, and Alston Bobb, 42 not out. Rolando Wright snared 4 for 50, Calvin Glasgow, 3 for 26, and Malcovin Jack, 2 for 25.

Victors One reached the 40 required for full points, losing three wickets in the process.

NLA First Division Two matches were played in the National Lotteries Authority First Division.

At Buccament, the Neil Williams Academy gained first innings points over Pastures Youths.

Ozico Williams hit 46, as Pastures Youths made 153. Ian Allen was the most successful bowler for the Academy with 3 for 37.

Allen then struck 57, and T’ Shaka Patterson, 50, as the Academy responded with 157 for 7.

Meanwhile, Unique Warriors won by default from Owia Stars. Desron Lavia hit 40, in Owia’s total of 66. Courtney Mc Dowald was the pick of bowlers with 3 for 2, Calvert Williams had 2 for 25, and Leon Samuel, 2 for 38.

Unique Warriors, on the back of 100 not out by Harley Skerritt, reached 205 for 5 at the close of day one. However, Owia Stars did not show up on Sunday at the Stubbs Playing Field.
