Toma Hawks, MIL- SOM in Mustique T/20 Cricket Finals
Title-holders Sweetie Pie Bakery Tomahawk and Mil- Som Construction will contest the finals of the Mustique Twenty/20 Cricket Competition this Sunday from 1pm at the Mustique Playing Field.{{more}}
The two recorded victories last weekend in their semifinal engagements.
In Saturdayâs first semifinal match, Man of the Match Desron Lavia slammed 118 as Toma Hawks beat Pink House TAGS by eight runs.
Toma Hawks batted first and posted 161 for 3 from their 20 overs.
In reply, TAGS reached 153 for six from their 20 overs. Felix Greaves top scored with 33, and Jerome Dick made 25.
In the other semi-final match, MIL-SOM Construction defeated Jacob Archibald Designs JAD by seven runs on Sunday.
MIL-SOM innings stopped at 85 for 5 in a match reduced to a 12 over affair because of rain.
Kevin Creese led the way with 35.
But in response, JAD, could only reach 78 for 5 when their overs ran out.
Kevin Creese was named the Man-of-the-Match.
