The trio left here last Friday, and were to begin their three weeks of improvement on their tennis skills from Monday, June 27 to July 15.

The aspiring players will be taking part in a tennis camp that runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, in which they will receive formal tennis training.

Additionally, the three will be working as counselors/mentors for the younger campers while at the facility.

Paul Campbell, Manager of Prospect Park Tennis Club, and Paul Curtin, Technical Director of Junior Development, were instrumental in making the offer to the three players of X- Cel Academy.

This package has a cost of close to US $4,000 on court training.

Also making the visit of the three athletes possible are many local businesses and others who contributed to the airfare.

FirstCaribbean Bank International and Courts were among the generous givers and support also came from parents and friends of the X- Cel family. (RT)
