Another exciting year ahead for Swimming
Andre Cadogan has been elected the President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Amateur Swimming Association.{{more}}
Cadogan along with Technical Vice President â Nicole Sylvester; Administrative Vice President â Dr. Simone France; Secretary General â Beverly Ackayli; Treasurer â Dominic Sutherland; and Floor Members â Neiasha Alexander, Rickydene Alexander and Kyle Dougan were recently selected at the organizationâs Annual General Meeting to lead from March 1.
At the meeting, Cadogan advised that the association made a good start in 2010. He is anticipating that there will be further growth and development in the sport this year.
The Executiveâs main emphasis will be strengthening the abilities of the coaches, provide overseas exposure for the more senior swimmers and introduce technical skills for persons interested in officiating at swimming events either locally or regionally.
During this year, St. Vincent and the Grenadines will benefit from a FINA sponsored Coaches course, and the association will be hosting a swimming summer school programme.
