Sion Hill, Kingstown advance in Masters T/20 KO

Sion Hill and Log Enterprises Kingstown have advanced to the next phase of the Log Enterprises SVG Masters Cricket T/20 Competition.{{more}}

Sion Hill disposed of Computec Belfongo by 15 runs.

Sion Hill batted first and scored 146 for 4 from their 20 overs. Sion Hill’s innings was engineered by Sylvester Vanloo’s 59 not out.

Vanloo then bagged 4 for 27, and Andrew Bramble, 3 for 13, as Belfongo fell for 131.

Meanwhile, Kingstown defeated Ajuba by nine wickets.

Reginald Jeffrey and Leon Samuel, both hit 42, as Ajuba posted 127 all out.

Colin Shoy, 3 for 8, Leopold Simmons, 3 for 9, and Bradley Brooker, 2 for 27, shared the bowling spoils for Kingstown.

Shoy and Brooker then blasted 67 not out and 40, respectively, as Kingstown bolted to 131 for 1, and ensure another chance to pocket the $1000, which is at stake for the winner.

Two matches are set for this weekend. On Sunday, RSVG Police face Tropical Shipping Stubbs from 10 30 am, and at 2: 30 pm, also at the Stubbs Playing Field, Rudy’s Electrical Barrouallie takes on CK Greaves Vintage Arnos Vale. (RT)
