From 4:00 pm, there will be the Division Three Knock Out Final, featuring Petroleum Maintenance Services ASCO 5 against Nice Radio Clinchers 3.

4:45pm will see the start of the Division Two Knock Out finals, which will bring together Vets Sports Club and A.J. Block making Secret Clickers.

The Division One finals cap off the afternoon of finals.

Vyeing for the two spots were ASCO One, ASCO Two, Yanja Young Strugglers, and CC’s Crystals Nice Radio Clinchers.

Yesterday, Thursday, ASCO One was set to meet Young Strugglers, with today, Friday, ASCO Two set to meet Nice Radio Clinchers.

In the final match of this evening’s double header, the winner of the ASCO One versus Young Strugglers encounter engages CC’s Crystals. The winner of this match advances to the final to face the winner of the ASCO Two/Nice Radio Clinchers match up.

Dogged by poor responses by teams to the fixtures, including several defaulted matches during the lead up to last December General Elections, organizers were forced to postpone the remainder of the competition, to this time.

However, when the resumption took place last Tuesday, the match was decided by the default route, as Division One defending champions, ASCO One made a no show against ASCO Two.

The Closing and Presentation Ceremony of this 18th edition of the competition takes place on Saturday, January, 29, at the Dauphine Community Centre.(RT)
