The seven are Atticus Browne, Donwell Hector, Linden James, Kieron Cottoy, Kenroy Peters, Dellorn Johnson and Kesrick Williams.

It is the first for Browne, a left handed opening and middle order batsman, to be called on for a Windwards senior selection.

Browne has represented the four -island grouping at both the Under-15 and Under-19 levels.

The others selected are St. Lucian Darren Sammy, who has been named as Captain, along with his countrymen, Johnson Charles, Keddy Lesporis, Dalton Polius, Gairy Mathurin, Craig Emmanuel, and Johnathan Joseph.

The Grenadians in the squad are Devon Smith, Andre Fletcher, Lindon Lawrence and Nellon Pascal.

Completing the squad are Dominicans: Liam Sebastian, Kevin James, Shane Shillingford, Vincent Lewis, Mervyn Matthew and Ray Casimir.

The squad is also without two persons who have featured prominently over the years, in Vincentian left arm fast bowler Deighton Butler and Grenadian left spinner and former Windwards captain, Rawl Lewis.

While Butler has played in the Windwards competition, he has not found favour with the current selection panel.

Lewis, on the other hand, who has served Windwards Cricket for close to nineteen years, has recently joined the West Indies Cricket Board operations department in Antigua and Barbuda.

The coach is Vincentian Ian Allen, and Manager, Dominican Lockhart Sebastian. (RT)
