NPL sponsors Cross Country Road Race

Plans are in place for the staging of the National Properties Cross Country Race 2010 scheduled for this coming Sunday, October 10, at the Diamond Industrial Estate.{{more}}

Accountant of National Properties Ltd.,(NPL) Elise Prescod-Quashie ensured that the race becomes a reality by handing over a cheque on behalf of NPL to Leroy Llewellyn, Vice-President of Team Athletics St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Chairman of its Road Racing Committee. NPL has been sponsoring this event for the last four years.

The Race will be staged in three categories: Under-15; 15-19 and Over-19. No athlete under the age of 10 years will be allowed to participate.

Interested persons are informed that school buses will transport athletes from North Windward, leaving Owia at 12.30 pm, North Leeward, leaving Chateaubelair at 12.30 pm and Marriaqua, leaving the Mespotamia gas station at 1.45 pm.

The Race is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm.
