SVG gearing up for Senior Windwards Cricket competition

Local Cricket selectors have once more selected a large squad of thirty players, with a hope of making this country’s Senior Cricket team for the Windwards competitions set for Grenada in December.{{more}}

Again, the tried and tested have been included.

However, space has been found for promising medium fast bowler, Romario Bibby of Combined Youths, who incidentally did not make the final cut for the Under-19 team earlier this year.

In are last year’s Captain, Linden James, along with Seon Sween, Wayne Harper, Salvan Browne, Atticus Browne, Lauron Francois, Sunil Ambris, Shaquille Browne, Marvin Small, Kishore Shallow, Andre Hunte, Alston Bobb, and Donson Andrews.

The squad also includes: Kieron Cottoy and Dellorn Johnson, fresh from the Sagicor High Performance training in Barbados, as well as Donwell Hector, Kesrick Williams, Kenroy Peters, Norlan Williams, Drumo Toney, Dyke Cato, and Larry Adams.

Completing the squad are Larry Adams, Teron Simon, Rodney Lawrence, Rolando Wright, Hyron Shallow, Deighton Butler, Miles Bascombe and Rommel Currency.

Bascombe’s and Currency’s participation is dependent on their availability, as they are both pursuing university studies in Barbados.(RT)
