NLA TBPO Softball continues to delight

Four matches were decided last weekend in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Orgnaisation Softball Cricket Competition.{{more}}

Street Vibes beat Computec Vintage by seven wickets.

Ashford Wood made a topscore of 36 and Junior Bacchus contributed 222, as Computec Vintage scored 103 in 18.5 overs. Noel Johnson picked up 3 for 15, bowling for Street Vibes.

Roderick Sayers made 30 not out and Clifford Williams, 30, and Danroy Pompey, 19, as Street Vibes reached 107 for 3 in 13.3 overs.

Also recording a win was Ruddy’s Electrical over Sunset Strikers.

Ruddy’s Electrical posted 184 for 7 off their 20 overs, with Leon Samuel scoring 45, Augustine Bentick, 39, and Winston Patterson, 21.

Bowling for Sunset Strikers, Keon Cumberbatch took 2 for 35.

In reply, Sunset Strikers was dismissed for 48, to lose by 136 runs. St. Clair Charles was the topscorer with 15, as Leon Samuel 3 for 14 and Alfie Gould 2 for 17, carved out an uncomplicated victory.
