The competition will now bowl- off on Sunday, June 27, at the Dorsetshire Hill Playing Field, taking the same format as previously planned. The opening programme will commence at 1:00pm and will include remarks from a member of the co-ordinating committee, a representative of the National Sports Council, a representative of both sponsors and the Junior Minister of Sports Cecil Mc Kie.

The innovative opening programme will also bring together youth fifteen years and under from Dorsetshire Hill and Arnos Vale at the mature level.

The tournament is being organised by the Dorsetshire Hill Soft Ball Cricket Organising Committee and is being held in response to the demands of the cricketers’ action for over a year.

The organisers will convene a meeting with the participating teams at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the Dorsetshire Hill School to finalise all aspects of the competition.
