Radcliffe takes first innings over Victors One

OLA Boutique Radcliffe gained first innings points over Victors One in the lone match of the RBTT Premier Division last weekend at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field.

But Victors One remains in the lead with 60 points.{{more}}

Victors One batted first and made 232. Seon Sween who gained a promotion up the order, struck an enterprising 79, Alston Bobb scored and Atticus Browne 36.

Left arm medium fast bowler, Dellorn Johnson took 8 for 54. Radcliffe responded well with 314. St. Vincent and the Grenadines senior team Captain Lindon James hit 87, with Dellorn Johnson with a good allround performance made 66, Drumo Toney scored 38, Rodney Lawrence 36 and Wayne Harper 30.

Boob took 3 for 39 and Norlan Williams grabbed 3 for 59.

Batting a second time, Victors One was 80 for 4, with Donwell Hector 38. Johnson picked up 3 for 29, to finish with match analysis of 11 for 83.

Bottlers First Division

In the Bottlers First Division, Eat Rite Saints continued their return to the Premier Division, with a come from behind over Rivals Two.

Brentley Edwards led Rivals Two’s innings of 203, with 71. Hanell Neptune hit 45, as Felix Greaves captured 7 for 65, and Ted Roberts 2 for 22.

Saints replied with 183. Rommel Currency struck 65, and Greaves 42. Edwards snared 4 for 49.

In their second innings, Rivals Two scored 132. Leon Gilkes hit 47, Neptune 40, as Greaves was again among the wickets with 5 for 31, to end with 12 for 96, and Sunil Ambris 3 for 36.

Saints reached 158 for 6, to win by four wickets. Daree Roberts scored 60, Jerome Dick 44 and Isaac Haywood 30 not out. Jemaul Daniel and Neptune both took 2 for 41.

And, Smashers gained first innings honours over Combined Youths. Rawdon Bentick topscored with 57, as Smashers reached 192. Malden Scrubb took 3 for 22, Oniel Endeavour 3 for 37.

Combined Youths in response made 140. Nico Davis made 37. Marvin Harry scooped 4 for 26; Keswerth Lewis 3 for 44.

Smashers second innings stopped at 123. Ronald Scott hit 39, Bentick 37, as Scrubb captured 5 for 22.

Combined Youths was 94 for 6, when the match ended. Endeavour made 30, and Harry got 2 for 30.(RT)
