Victors One heads out front

Victors One made light work of Victors Two, to push them to the top of the RBTT Premier Division standings of the National Cricket Competition. Their margin of victory was an innings and 21 runs.{{more}}

Victors Two was shot out for 76, with Rodrigo Thomas, the topscorer, with 31. Alston Bobb snared 5 for 22, and Keiron Cottoy, 4 for 12.

In reply, Victors One made 234. Atticus Browne led the way with 90, and Donwell Hector contributed 58.

Jenry Ollivierre with 4 for 45, and Ray Jordan, 3 for 55, were the main wicket takers for Victors Two, whose second innings closed at 137. Thomas was again the topscorer with 39, as Bobb snapped up 5 for 26, to finish with match analysis of 10 for 48. Hector claimed 5 for 57.

Also in the battle of the fraternities, Police Two gained first innings from Police One. Police Two scored 251 for 7 declared. Rolando Wright struck 64, Salvan Browne, 43, Kenroy Martin, 42 not out, Joseph Bascombe, 32, and Mc Leon Williams, 30.

Bowling for Police One, Renford Jack took 2 for 57.

Police One’s brave replied ended at 237. Gerald Gould topped their batting with 74, Larry Adams made 60, and Gosnel Cupid, 31. Martin captured 5 for 43 and Wright, 3 for 62.

Bottlers First Division Log Enterprises Masters defeated Robertson Surveying Belmont United by 58 runs. The Masters made 143, with Junior Bacchus making 36. Agustus Mofford bagged 6 for 42 and Mc Koyan Delpesche, 3 for 35.

Belmont United was dismantled for 62. Sylvannus Morgan got 4 for 7 and Elvis Browne, 4 for 28.

Batting a second time, Log Enterprises Masters declared at 116 for 7. Sylvannus Vanloo made 53 not out. Mofford took 2 for 59 and Delpesche, 2 for 14, and Jamal Bradshaw, 2 for 20.

Set 199 to win, Belmont folded for 140. Curtis King hit 51. Morgan was again the lead bowler with 5 for 58, and Elvis Browne, 3 for 29.

And, Moses Douglas Radcliffe whipped Pastures Youth United by four wickets.

Pastures made 94. Anthony Harper took 4 for 2, and Paul Harry, 4 for 19.

Radcliffe Two fell short by seven runs, making 87. Reyon Dowers took 3 for 24 and Shaquille Lyttle, 2 for 24.

Pastures scored 118 in their second knock. Raffique Williams had figures of 4 for 24, Jesse Ryan, 3 for 16, and Kareem Peters, 2 for 14.

Radcliffe reached 130 for 6, to score a come from behind win. Kensley Joseph led the successful run chase with 37 and Paul Harry, 32. (RT)
