Park Hill Gov’t School holds 25th Annual Sports Meet

The Park Hill Government School held its 25th Annual Sports Meet on Friday, March 5, 2010. Decked in a sea of blue, red, yellow and white, the athletes staged a spectacular display of skills, talent and endurance. Defending champions, Yellow House, successfully defended its march past and track and field titles.{{more}}

Alex Grant (53 pts), a phenomenal athlete, gifted with speed and stamina, was crowned Under-13 Male Champion and Victor Ludorum. Kathleen Franklyn (35 pts), another Under -13 athlete, was crowned Victix Ludorum.

Yellow House amassed a whopping 460 points, followed by a distant Blue House, 339, points, and Red House occupying the cellar on 323 points.

The Meet was greatly patronized by the Park Hill and surrounding residents. Yellow House was awarded the Tyrone Burke Trophy, symbol of the school’s athletic supremacy.
