Questelles holds track meet

The Questelles Government School congregated at the Victoria Park on Friday, February 26, to run off its track and field competition. It was a warm morning and the meet got off to a late start due to a fault with the PA system.{{more}}

Despite the poor parental support in the stands, the athletes from the Marshal, Wallace, Thomas and Griffith houses gave an excellent display of prowess that augurs well for the school and the nation. The teachers and the parents did not participate in their events but this did not dampen the spirits and enthusiasm of the Houses.

At the end of the day, defending champion Marshall House could only muster 164 points and placed 4th.Third was Thomas House with 194 points, while Wallace House placed 2nd, amassing 221 points. Griffith House emerged champion with 242 points.
