Warner, Blazer re-elected

President Jack Warner and general secretary Chuck Blazer were formally re-elected to the FIFA executive committee at the CONCACAF’s Ordinary Congress on Monday.{{more}}

Warner and Blazer were unopposed and return to the FIFA Executive Committee for another four years to represent the CONCACAF region, CONCACAF said in a press release.

First elected to the executive committee in 1983, Trinidadian Warner will retain his post as FIFA vice president and act as CONCACAF’s Caribbean representative until 2013.

Blazer, of the USA, will return to his post as the representative from North America, a position he has held since 1996.

Meanwhile, Captain Horace Burrell, of Jamaica, American Sunil Gulati and vice-president Alfredo Hawit, of Honduras, were re-elected to the CONCACAF executive committee
