Retaining the Girls’ title, the all female Girls’ High School amassed 201 points. The Thomas Secondary trailed them with 188, and completing the top three was the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown with 126 points.

National Under-20 footballer Myron Samuel of the Campden Park Secondary was the Intermediate Boys’ Champion. Samuel put together 24 individual points. The West St. George Secondary’s Suzette Jordon collected the award of Intermediate Girls’ Champion. A towering six -footer, Jordon, totalled 36 points.

Among the seniors, Ceonie Jeffrey of the Barrouallie Secondary cleared all her competitors, as her 26 points earned her the Senior Female Champion title.

The Georgetown Secondary’s Kemron Glasgow copped the Senior Boys’ Champion award, having scored a total of 24 points from his individual events.

A feature of the Meet was the participation of several of the national Under-20 footballers, who made their mark. Turning in creditable performances were Kyle Greaves, Cornelius Stewart, Ronsil Badnock and Reginald Richardson of the Bishop’s College, Intermediate High, and Barrouallie Secondary respectively.

The performances of the top athletes from last Wednesday’s Meet will put them in the focus of the selection panel when they get together to select this country’s contingent for the Windward Islands Secondary School Games, to be hosted here in July and August.
