Football action returns to Sharpes

Football enthusiasts will have a lot to look forward to come 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, as football action returns to the Redemption Sharpes community.{{more}}

The competition is sponsored by S.I.F. and run by the Sharpes Educational Sports and Cultural Organisation (SESCO) Masters football team, in collaboration with SESCO and Central Kingstown Development Organisation (CKDO).

The organisers are catering for 13 teams, with a registration fee of $150.00. The competition has, however, been restricted to teams within the Central Kingstown community only, (no outsiders).

The opening will start with a March past and a penalty shootout with the teams.

The prizes up for grabs at the end of the competition are first place $1000.00, second prize, $700.00, and third prize $300.00.
