Defending champion D-Vetertans continued on their winning path, with a 52 run win over Nex Level.
Desmond Maloney and Holford Browne both hit 35, as D- Veterans made 132. Winston Holder, 2 for 28, Travis Trimmingham, with the same figures, and Justin Lee, 2 for 16, shared the bowling spotlight for Next Level.
But their batsmen could only make 80. Maloney, 3 for 4, and Vernardo Primus, 2 for 13, being the top performers with the ball.
Also recording a win was Old Trafford. Young Bush made 87. Javon Pitt took 3 for 14, Nowlyn Bennett, 2 for 13, and Ronaldo Coombs, 2 for 19. Old Trafford responded with 96 for 4. Coombs hit 37 not out.
Joining the winnerâs list was Unit One. Batting first, Unit One made 157 for 4 off their 20 overs. Maxwell Bennett hit 43 not out, Reginald Payne, 26, and Calvert Richards, 19. Kelly Murray had 2 for 28.
Prophecy Strikers was strangled by the bowling of Kerry Cadougan, 3 for 10, Gosnel Cupid, 2 for 20, and Richard Payne, 2 for 2, and could only reply with 56 for 8. Enneil Samuel topped the batting with 22.
And, Glen United defeated Older Boys by a mere 12 runs.
Glen took first strike and reached 121 for 5 off their maximum 20 overs. Trevor Bailey was the topscorer with 41, and Kenroy Martin, 18 not out. Ben John took 3 for 24.
Older Boys responded with 109. Wayne Garraway, 3 for 10. Roy Millington, Ricky King and Martin all grabbed two wickets each.
The other scheduled match saw Dr. Thomas Injectors winning by default over Fair Trade Cool Guys. (RT)
