SVGTA to hold tennis tournament in December
Tennis will again be a featured sport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in December as national players participate in the 2008 National Junior Tennis Championships co-sponsored by C.K. Greaves & Co. Ltd. and First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB).{{more}}
The Tournament will run from December 15th to the 20th. With all categories of play scheduled, Boys and Girls Under-10 to Under-18, national players are poised to earn valuable ranking points in the year-ending Tournament.
The event builds on the SVG Tennis Associationâs plans to provide a full calendar of National and International tournaments and events to promote the national growth of Tennis. The 2008 National Junior Tennis Championships will be played at the National Tennis Centre in Villa, starting at 9 a.m. daily. Registration for the Tournament ends on Saturday, December 13th.
