NLA Neil Williams 20/20 competition heading for Quarter finals stage

The National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams 20/20 competition continued last weekend, and six teams confirmed their places in the quarter finals.{{more}}

Rivals, Saints, Victors One, Radcliffe, Police and Bequia have secured those places thus far.

MVC Rivals defeated North Leeward by 10 wickets. North Leeward, 70 for 6. Kenroy Lewis, 28 not out. Orlanzo Jackson, 2 for 5, Roland Wilkinson, 2 for 20. Rivals, 71 for no loss. T’Ron Harper, 30 not out, Hyron Shallow, 27 not out.

Rivals also defeated Belmont by 148 runs.

Rivals on the back of 103 from Harper, which included eight fours and five sixes, reached 200 for 3 in their 20 overs. Wilkinson, 36, Marvin Small, 30. Adolphus Campbell, 2 for 34. Belmont, fielding seven players, was dismissed for 52. Casmond Walters, 3 for 23.

Police scored a 23 run win over Bequia. The lawmen made 131.Elmore Alexander, 24, Rolando Wright, 21. Ellis Lavia, 3 for 16, Jenry Ollivierre, 2 for 18. Bequia stopped at 108 for 6, in their 20 overs.Olanzo Billingy, 26, Salvan Browne, 20. Wright, 2 for 9, Othneil Baptiste, 2 for 15, and Alexander, 2 for 34.

ECGC Radcliffe whipped Digicel Neil Williams Academy Radcliffe 173 for 3, with Drumo Toney, 50, and Ozni Billingy, 42 not out. The Academy reached 129 for 6, off their 20.

Allandee Ballantyne struck 48.

Radcliffe also beat Victors Two by 59 runs. Radcliffe, 138 for 3 off 20 overs. Wayne Harper, 35, Delroy Johnson, 27. Victors Two was dismissed for 79. Stein Joseph, 25. Toney, 3 for 11, Mahlon John, 2 for 21.

Victors One won by default over Ruddy’s Electrical Unique Warriors, so, too, did Police over ASCO, while Eat Rite Saints and Unique Warriors had to settle for one point each as their match was abandoned after rain interrupted Saints’ innings at 107 for 6, in 18 overs.(RT)
