SVG drag team returns in top position

Last weekend, October 11, was a big day for Vincentian race drivers and their cars as they competed for top honours in the “B Fast B Furious” night drag event held by SPEED PROMOTIONS at the Camden Airstrip in Trinidad.{{more}}

The event produced aggressive competition, as the Trinidadians were eager to defeat the Vincentians. The Vincentian cars rose to the occasion and fought to the finish, resulting in top positions for the drivers.

Collin Sardine, driving his Toyota Levin, and Marcus Wallace, driving his Nissan 300zx, both placed 2nd in their individual category, while Ronald Reddock took third place in his category. Jason Moussa, driving his Mitsubishi Lancer, recorded the fastest quarter mile time for the St.Vincent team, but the Honda Integra owned by Obed Williams was not able to compete due to mechanical difficulties. The event proved to be a stepping stone for some and an opportunity for improvement for others.
